Vacation Bible School Indoctrination Nazis
Tis’ the season for Vacation Bible School Indoctrination (VBSI)*. The time of year that most churches use as one of their biggest recruitment tools geared towards indoctrinating young minds while children enjoy a week of stories, movies, singing, playing games, and snacking away. And who can forget the cheap or even free child care that's offered: Five days + minimum of 3 hours each day = $5-$15 maximum.
As Jesus Himself says in Mark 10:14:
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
Every good Christian should know that money hindereth not when it comes to saving souls and increasing one's donor base!
And just who are the Nazis mentioned in the title?
It's the parents blessed with the knowledge of knowing which churches in the community have VBSI and faithfully coordinate schedules to arrange for cheap/free childcare from the beginning of June through the end of August. Confirmation bias abounds, faith is held up as a virtue, and critical thinking is squelched! Hallelujah, praise-the-lord, and a good, hearty, AMEN!
